Usually I don't do this until New Year's Eve, but, well, here you go. These are the first lines of the first blog posts of each month in 2010 (which I still call "two thousand ten" instead of the supposedly far more popular "twenty ten"):
- January: There is every reason for me to call this year "twenty ten," but so far I can't seem to shake the "two thousand ten" habit.
- February: I'm crossing things off my list left and right!
- March: Sometimes when Andy is away overnight, I just nosh all evening instead of having a proper dinner.
- April: Do you read Lifehacker?
- May: Recently I discovered a shopping site called Rue La La.
- June: Yes, I'm still here, and all is well, but there just aren't enough hours in the day anymore.
- July: This is my final post about Yoursphere, the online community that's geared for kids.
- August: I thought I was the last person (well, maybe the last woman) on the planet to read The Help by Kathryn Stockett, but it turns out that several of my Twitter pals haven't read it yet either.
- September: 1. Good Work - The BoDeans
- October: 1. Psycho Killer (live) - Talking Heads
- November: Sometimes it's easy for me to forget that most of the rest of the country is nothing like Massachusetts.
- December: 1. The Tears of a Clown - Marc Cohn & Kristina Train
Sounds like I was busy but still found time to listen to music.
Does it ever occur to you during the year that a sentence will end up in this post? "Whoa, it's August 1st... better make this opening a good one."

Ha, no! That's the good thing about aging: I forget everything almost instantly.
