Me again, can you believe it? I thought I would show you some of the wonderful cookbooks I've edited recently. The first one I want to mention is especially near and dear to my heart, because Jacques Pépin is my absolute hero in the culinary world. I regularly watch his cooking videos on Facebook, just to hear his voice and learn from him and watch him prepare easy, beautiful, comforting dishes. I'm sure I have every one of his cookbooks, too, and I even got to meet him briefly in 2017 when he spoke at Boston University in advance of the PBS documentary about his life (which is totally worth watching, if you missed it). He was really gracious as I bent his ear about cookbooks.
ANYHOO, I got to edit his latest cookbook, Art of the Chicken, which was a dream come true. It's filled with delightful anecdotes and memories (and of course a few recipes) about the importance of chickens throughout his life, all accompanied by his lovely, whimsical watercolor paintings of chickens! (You knew he's also an artist, right? What can't that man do?)
Really, it was such a pleasure to work on, I barely considered it work. (Oh, and I got to do his next one too, which isn't out yet—stay tuned!)
Some other fantastic cookbooks I edited or proofread are shown below. Quite a nice variety to keep me on my toes.
My husband gave me Art of the Chicken for my birthday a couple of months ago! I had no idea you had worked on it. It's sitting right here next to me! That's very, very exciting. :)

A Princess Bride cookbook? I'm trying to imagine what kind of recipes would be in that. :)

Oh, it's really fun! The recipes are normal but have cute punny names, like Six-Fingered Sandwiches, R.O.U.S.es ([Dinner] Rolls of Unusual Size), Mawidge Meatwoaf, Fire Swamp Boiled Beef, Farm Boy Breakfast, etc. And photos from the movie throughout!
